BICEP X CHROMA release

DOCUMENTING THE RELEASE OF BICEP’S CHROMA special edition case (ninja tune) involved following the printing and packaging process between London and Milan, culminating in an album RELEASE PARTY in london.
The chroma album case is one like no other; my task was to show the unique way that the special edition case was made, using david rudnick’s innovative CMYK+2 6 colour profile and printed at musumeci s.p.a. THe records were packaged in wembley, with one of 4 unique acrylics in each and multiple experimental design configurations.
I brought noughties camcorders and a 6mm fisheye lens into the video mix to reflect the process and the atmosphere of the album, as well as the fujifilm x100v and sony for stills.

girls of the internet brought me on board to capture the pure energy they brought to room 2 at fabric during the ‘classics’ record label night. whith live vocals from nova newland throughout the set, it was a joy being able to capture the energy in the dj booth and the crowd, who were both electric the whole night.
FESTIVAL STILLS
Festivals are a place like no other, and there’s almost nowhere I like better to shoot. whether i’m working to a brief or just letting my hair down as a punter, I can’t resist capturing moments of joy, special connections, personal stories and beautiful environments. The Fujix100v and sony camera are my go to’s for capturing that festi spirit.
GIRLS OF THE INTERNET X MOTH CLUB

capturing girls of the internet performing at moth club called for something special; I brought along a petzval 58mm lens with its unusual bokeh, combined with retro starburst lens filter, to reflect the dreamy beauty of the gig and the vintage feel of the venue itself, which was an old social club. It was great getting up close and personal, catching the little moments of joy and showcasing their incredible talent to audiences across their socials.

It’s always incredible being part of a festival video team, both download and y not festivals were no exception. Whether it was roaming the site and going on side-quests to find stories and capture footage for the on-site editor, or taking on the editor role myself and knocking out sharp edits for immediate publication on festi socials in real time, i love the pace, energy and passion of working in the festival environment.
